International Student Center(ISC),Nagoya arranges a two-day long International Festival
every year.Last year the festival was held on 28th and 29th November.Many students from abroad took part in
the festival and introduced their home countries by displaying their traditional dress,teaching their
own languages and cooking their own dishes.The last attraction of this two-day long arrangement
was a speech contest participated by the foreign students studying in the Universities of Aichi
prefecture.
Among about twenty applicants only seven were selected for the final performance and luckily I
was one of them.We were two from Bangladesh,one from Brazil and four from China.It was a good
fight and I must say that fortune favored me at last,I got the championship award.
My subject was:
" Discovering another 'myself' in a foreign country and my homeland Bangladesh
"
